A wedding bar with your names on the menu.

Every signature cocktail we build starts with a story — and on your wedding day, the story is yours. A dry-hire bar that saves real money, a zero-proof twin for every drink, and a menu your guests will still be asking about a year later.

Built for the two of you

The drink we name for your first dance.

Most wedding bars hand you a laminated menu of the same six drinks every venue in Houston already serves. We do the opposite. Before your wedding, we sit down with you — over the phone or in person — and build a cocktail around your actual story: how you met, an inside joke, a place that matters. It gets a name, a build, and a printed story card at the bar so your guests know exactly what they're drinking and why.

We call the template First Dance — gin, elderflower, sparkling wine, a whisper of lemon oil — soft and bright, built to be finished in three sips, like the song. Yours won't taste like anyone else's. Once we build it, it's yours for good; we'll send you the recipe as a wedding gift.

The rest of the menu pulls from our full 50-cocktail library, including guest favorites like the Bayou Sunset (bourbon, blood orange, smoked honey) for a backyard golden-hour reception, or The Roswell (reposado, grapefruit, ancho) if your crowd leans tequila.

The one we build for the couple. Soft, sparkling, and gone in three sips — like the song.

Not everyone at your reception drinks

The designated driver gets a real drink too.

"Your pregnant maid of honor, your sober best man, your grandparents — they get the same glass, the same craft, the same story. Never a sad cup of soda water at the edge of the dance floor."
  • Every signature cocktail on your wedding menu — including your custom couple's drink — ships with a real zero-proof twin, designed alongside the original.
  • Running a fully dry wedding? We build a complete non-alcoholic bar with the same craft and presentation as a full-proof one — see our zero-proof bar page for the full menu.
  • No cash bar awkwardness and no forgotten Shirley Temples. Every guest gets a drink built for the room, not an afterthought.
Wedding bar budgets

You buy the bottles. We bring everything else.

Wedding alcohol markups from a licensed caterer routinely run 3–4x retail. Texas law lets us skip that: you buy the alcohol at retail using the exact shopping list we build for your guest count, and we handle the bartenders, the craft, the mixers, the ice, and the show. Most couples save well over a thousand dollars — money that goes straight back into the budget for flowers, photography, or the honeymoon. Curious what the shopping list looks like for your guest count? The bar planning guide shows the math — bartender counts, bottle counts, and booking timelines.

Wedding bar questions

Answers before you ask.

Can you create a signature cocktail named after us? +
Yes — it's the centerpiece of The Signature and The Story packages. We interview the couple, build a cocktail around your story, name it, and print it on story cards at the bar. Every custom cocktail also gets a zero-proof twin, so it works for every guest.
Do you provide non-alcoholic drinks for guests who don't drink? +
Yes. Every signature cocktail on a wedding menu ships with a real zero-proof twin, built alongside the original, so pregnant guests, sober guests, and designated drivers get a drink that matches the moment instead of a plain soda water. We also run fully dry weddings with a complete non-alcoholic bar — see our zero-proof page.
How does dry-hire save money on a Houston wedding? +
Under Texas law we operate as a dry-hire bar: you buy the alcohol yourself at retail using the exact shopping list we send, and we bring the bartenders, glassware, mixers, ice, and craft. Most couples save well over a thousand dollars compared to a licensed caterer's alcohol markup.
How far in advance should we book? +
Popular Houston wedding dates — spring and fall weekends especially — book out four to nine months ahead. We can sometimes accommodate shorter timelines, but custom cocktail development is best started at least six weeks before your date.
Can you work at any venue, or only certain ones? +
We've built bars for backyard weddings, downtown venues, ranch properties, and everything between across greater Houston. We coordinate directly with your venue or planner on load-in time, power, and water access as part of every booking.
